To prevent any doubts, we would like to clarify the following:
"TotallyJewishTravel Inc." (TJT Inc) is the company that operates the
www.TotallyJewishTravel.com and
TJT.co.il websites, serving as an intermediary for the information contained but not,
in any way, as a Kashrut Authority.
TJT Inc respects any Restaurant, Tour Operator and/or business which has a Kosher Certificate (a Jewish Rabbinical permit for being and Keeping Kosher), and allows it to upload/update/insert its business information to the TotallyJewishTravel website.
Please note that TJT Inc does not check every Kosher source for every listing on its website or in the database on a daily basis. Therefore, users should check properly the type of Hashgacha and it's source, and decide for themself if it complies with their beliefs and definition of "Kashrut".
This is also true when you search for a Kosher Program, Synagogue, a Jewish Community etc.
Due to the different Kashrut levels and various options, it is practically impossible to satisfy everyone person's standards.
TJT Inc trusts the honesty & good will of users worldwide, and relies on their feedback and updates.
However, TotallyJewishTravel.com's editors will never add or update an entry automatically in its database, but only after manual verification and data cross-examination to minimize the possibilities of mistakes (that can be a result of constant changes and updates).
We will also not allow information to be uploaded that will mislead our users and contain misleading information. If we receive clear evidence that listings on our website are misleading from a Kashrut perspective we will act to remove this listing from our website.
In any case, TJT always recommends users check and verify the validity of the Kosher certificate / permit on the premises in person, before sitting down to eat!
Anyone who does not understand and / or accept the above policy is kindly asked not to use TotallyJewishTravel.com website and its resources.
To clarify one more time: TotallyJewishTravel.com is not a Kosher Licensing Authority and does not provide ANY kind of Kosher Supervision.
We forbid anybody to use our name and/or advertisements as a Kosher certificate.
