If you're driving from New York City, consider stopping at Market 32 in Albany. This newer, upscale version of Price Chopper has a large kosher section with a deli, bakery, sushi, pizza, and plenty of packaged kosher products.
During the summer, Saratoga Chabad operates a weekday minyan in Lake George, with Shacharit each morning and Mincha/Maariv later in the day. Advance registration is requested. There is no regular Shabbat minyan in Lake George.
