Salzburg-Land
Salzburg Land is actually the province of Salzburg located in the northwest of Austria, bordering the province of Tyrol and Germany to the West, the provinces of Upper Austria and Satria to the East, and the province of Carinthia to the South. The Salzburg Land district is a center of attraction for summer vacations for many families who find here everything a family needs on their vacation: perfect weather, green mountains, plenty of attractions for all ages, hiking trails and an atmosphere of calm and peace that only Austria can offer.
Zederhaus, Austria
At a height of 1200 meters rises a small and cute town called Zedarhaus. A water tributary running through its center and the green mountains rising on both sides imbue it with the peace and quiet necessary for a vacation.
Its central location close to the main road between Salzburg in the North and Slovenia and Carinthia in the South gives it easy and convenient access to all of the tourist sites and attractions in the Salzburg Land area.
Kapron, Hallstatt, Gollinger Falls, the Grossglockner, Zell Am See, Schladming, Lichtenstein Canyon, and more. All of these are less than an hour's drive from the town.
Sport Hotel
A state-of-the-art and modern hotel that just opened just a few years ago. In the hotel you will find furnished rooms, decorated in good taste, in a delicate modern design, a spacious dining room, a shul, a lobby with a coffee and cake corner that is open all day, a sauna, mikva, and more.
The hotel rooms are spacious and very nice, with a balcony and lounge chairs.
The kitchen in the hotel is operated by the Tour Olam team, with rich and varied meals according to the best of our global tradition, with half board + a unique buffet for making sandwiches for lunch.

We will start our good morning with a rich breakfast, with a particularly delicious variety of salads, breads and more. You are invited to pamper yourself with a good meal as a successful start to a great day, and pack a tasty and satisfying lunch for the journey full of the many experiences that we will make happen today. And in the evening, when we return to the hotel, satisfied and tired, the skilled and dedicated staff of "Tor Olam" will be waiting for you with a hot, hearty and pampering dinner fit for a king; served hot and home-made style with a variety of flavors and aromas that will surprise you with new tastes during all hours of the day, available for you in the hotel open bar of hot drinks and cakes. And all with the highest levels of Kashrus Supervision of Rabbi David Shlomo Zoldan, Dayan and Rabbinical judge of the Sart Vizhnitz community in Haifa.
Hiking Trails and Activities - Optional
Tuesday - Gollinger Falls - Gorge to Marklam
Upon landing in Salzburg we will go to Gollinger Falls. A short walk will bring us to the bottom of the gushing waterfalls. From there we will go to the Gorge to Marklam on a short trail next to the waterline of the Lamar River.
At the end of the trail we will go to the hotel.
Wednesday – Hallstatt, Penicular + Salt Mine, Gossau Lake, Avantau
In the morning we will go to one of the most famous tourist destinations in Austria - the picturesque village of Hallstatt. We will walk between its ancient houses immersed in nature's beauty, the blue lake on one side and the towering mountains on the other.
After that, we will go up to a pinnacle for a view from a panoramic balcony of the lake and the town.
We will continue into the depths of the earth for a tour of an ancient salt mine which we enter via a tiny train where we will be exposed to the ancient means of salt mining.
After leaving Hallstatt, we will continue to the most picturesque lake in the area, which is Lake Gusau.
Before we return to the hotel we will stop in the town of Avantau, for a fun activity that is appropriate for all ages - mountain slides. You go up by cable cars to the top of the mountain and slide down with the mountain slides in the green nature that surrounds you while you slide down the slope on a long track of about 2 kilometers.
Thursday – Grossglockner, Zell Am See, observation lookout of Zell Am See.
Today we will go to the Grossglockner Mountain (Grossglockner). It is the highest mountain in Austria. The mountain rises to a height of 3,798 meters above sea level and is part of the mountain range called the Tauern Mountains. On a 48 kilometer route, the road captures the hearts of its passengers, at every one of its 36 bends, the view of the Austrian Alps is revealed in all of its glory.
We will end the mountainous route in the town of Zell Am See, by the lake on whose shores it is located, the nature that surrounds it and the mountains towering above it.
After that, we will take a short drive up the mountain for a view of the town from the view terrace, which presents a postcard view that is worth the effort.
Friday - Salzburg - Shopping
We will spend this day in the capital of the region and the name of the city is Salzburg. An ancient city and one of the most visited cities in Austria. We will also pass by Miraval Palace and see the spectacularly beautiful gardens. There are lots of flowers that were planted in the shape of a woven carpet on a green background with a fountain in the center.
Special time will be given to allow for shopping in the local stores.
In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to get ready for Kavod Shabbos.
Sunday - Königssee, Rosfeld's terrace, Berchtesgaden.
We will start this day with a cruise in the Lake of the Kings. It is an elongated mountain lake whose steep slopes on both sides give the lake the shape of a fjord.
We will continue to the panoramic road of Rosfeld. It is a mountain toll road that takes you to vantage points to the snowy mountains above and to the verdant valleys below.
We will finish with a nice stroll in the town of Berchtesgaden. A small market town characterized by painted houses, with most of the motifs being influenced by the surrounding mountains.
Monday - Kapron Dam, Sigmund Ton, Kalam Zee.
We will open our last day at one of the leading tourist sites of the Salzburg region - Kapron Dam located in the heart of the Tauern Mountains nature reserve in the Salzburg region, surrounded by peaks that reach a height of over 3000 meters. There are the two dams of Kapron, and the impressive water reservoir.
We will go to the dams using a special elevator that is open to the surrounding view.
We will continue to Sigmund Ton, a wonderful and beautifully organized nature trail. It is a pleasant walk between huge rocks along the overflowing river channel. We will end the route at the spectacular Kalam Lake for a short and pleasant walk around the lake..
