One hour from Tangier and 20 minutes from Tetouan, in a haven of privacy by the beach, the Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay is the first address of the prestigious Asian brand to have been inaugurated in this region of the world in 2016. And as in its most beautiful resorts, the complex relies on accommodation consisting solely of superb villas in the Arab-Andalusian style, all of which have... private swimming pools! Two hours of flight, and here we are out of place! Freshly landed in the mild air of Morocco, we find ourselves immersed in an annexed world, where the delicacy of Moroccan works goes hand in hand in a magnificent hotel with the accents of a Maghrebian palace.
The arrival at the Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay finishes dazzling us. A large central aisle lined with olive trees invites the eye towards this building with the appearance of an oriental palace. Majestic, it dominates the rest of the hotel complex.

THE VILLAS
The Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay is the only hotel on the Mediterranean coast to offer “All Pool Villas”. These oversized and ultra-luxurious rooms, usual in the most beautiful Asian resorts, are extremely rare in Europe or the Maghreb! In total, 92 villas spread over 26 hectares and divided into 8 categories and showcasing traditional Moroccan design. The journey begins with a private entrance open to a small patio leading to the front door of the villa itself. A large living room welcomes us with sofas, armchairs and a large bay window overlooking the huge terrace with outdoor lounge and the private swimming pool in a decor reminiscent of Moroccan riads. A large double wooden door leads to the bedroom with a King bed size facing the bay window and the swimming pool. A large adjoining bathroom with 2 separate basins (a gentleman's corner and a lady's corner), a large egg-shaped XXL bath in the center, separate shower and toilet. All in a harmony of beige marble, wood, stucco and zelliges.
In addition to private swimming pools, all the villas have free Wi-Fi, 2 LCD televisions with Blu-ray player, safe, air conditioning, minibar and a Nespresso machine.
The villas are surrounded by walls to protect privacy.
Bliss Pool Villa: 42 villas with a total area of 203m². Overlooking the garden, this category is ideal for couples. Each room has its own access to the terrace through a French window. This villa can accommodate 1 child in addition to 2 adults.
Garden Pool Villa: 16 villas in number, the Garden Pool Villas benefit from the same facilities as the Bliss Pool Villa with the addition of a vast garden.
Courtyard Villa: 233m² of happiness! Take the time to stroll around its patio or immerse yourself in its hot tub. The view of the lagoon is breathtaking. It has its own kitchenette.
Waterfront Villa (233 m²): Endowed with a breathtaking view of the river, this villa has in addition to its private swimming pool, a hot tub and a kitchenette.
Pool Villa 2 Bedrooms (393 m²): Designed for 4 people (4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children), it has a large dining room, a living room and 2 bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. A large swimming pool.
Sea View Villa 2 Bedrooms (421m²): In addition to the sublime panorama of the lagoon, the villa houses a hammam and a large private swimming pool.
Spa Sanctuary Pool Villa 2 Bedrooms: Clearly the most Zen room at the Banyan Tree. In addition to its large open and bright spaces, there is a private treatment room. We enjoy the sea view.
Beach Villa 2 Bedrooms: hard to get closer to the water! It gives access to the beach of the establishment.

CHILDREN'S CLUB:
Our KIDS CLUB entertainment team prepares a program of activities adapted to each age for children aged 3 to 12.
A whole space is dedicated to children between 4 and 12 years old (free access). Many activities for children: cinema screenings, make-up workshops, games... To be more peaceful, a swimming pool is reserved for children.
