The town of Poiana is 15 km above the city of Brasov, the third largest city in Romania.
A picturesque town on the Carpathian Mountains in front of Mount Tempo, it is the most visited town in Romania, with pristine views, a local market, beautiful attractions, and many hiking trails.
During Passover, the town is still a ski town - it is hot inside and cold outside. The town itself is still snowed in during this time usually. And the experience is really doubled. There are cable cars, bowling, ATVs, and more...
Hotel
We are vacationing at the Aurelius Hotel in Poiana Brasov, Romania.
A hotel located on the shores of Lake Mauritius at an altitude of 1050 m in the mountains. A luxurious hotel containing 90 spacious rooms, which are elegant and designed with a special taste, the smallest of which is 60 square meters. The room has a minibar, a safe, a luxurious bathroom, and each room has a balcony overlooking the view. Extensive public areas and a huge spa center, 3 swimming pools, a Fitness room, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as the possibility to receive massage treatments at a high level and at reasonable prices. Full board of gourmet meals directed by a first-class chef and a tea room available to our guests free of charge throughout the day for hot drinks and cakes in the best tradition of our company - all this together with Rabbi Emanuel Tehila Shalita, in the sophisticated and meticulous kosher of Rabbi Sh. 1. For returning guest veterans - 4 days of trips, to new sites selected by our guides:
- The market in Bran, Shimon - horses and carts for the monument.
- Prezmer Castle, Lake Santa Anna.
- Red Lake, Bikaz Mall.
- Jeeps
- Rashnov Citadel, Rashnov Mall, Rashnov Stalactite Cave.
- The Ice Hotel in the Pagrash Mountains, and more...
- The old Lipskani district, the Holocaust Memorial, the Jewish Museum, Templo Koral, sailing on the Strau Lake.
- (On Yom Tov Monday of Chol Hamoed we do not issue guided tours, the guests take advantage of this for local tours with our guides, and for independent trips and shopping.)
2. For new guests we recommend a trip where we cover the most visited sites in the area.
- Sinaia, Flesh Palace, Pagrash Mountains, the Salt Mine, the Ice Hotel (a really rare experience), Brasov, Dracula's Fortress, Bran, shopping malls and local markets.
The shopping experience is great in Romania, the prices are good, and the offer is great, there are charming shopping malls in Brasov.
For independent travelers:
There are many attractions in the area that we know how to recommend, such as: ATVs, jeeps, a large rope park, horses, shopping sites, bowling, cable cars, skydiving, and more.
For those interested, there are several options for renting cars from both Brasov and Bucharest.
