Kosher Holiday Resort (KHR) is pleased to announce it will be hosting Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur 2017 at the luxurious Turnberry Isle Miami, South Florida's premier ‘signature collection’ resort and spa located in the heart of Aventura, Florida.
Highlighting the program will be world renowned singing sensation, Dudu Fisher and Simon Jacobson, author of award winning, “Toward a Meaningful Life” (William Morrow).

The Resort
 
The luxurious Turnberry Isle Miami Resort continuously exceeds guest’s expectations. KHR’s unsurpassed Rosh Hashana program at Turnberry Isle Miami offers a wonderful resort setting for guests to enjoy and celebrate the High Holidays. Each guest is warmly welcomed and given the finest holiday accommodations including enjoyable services, three daily gourmet meals and a sumptuous tea room freshly prepared by Hassid+Hipster’s Chef Yos and his incredible team of executive chefs.
  
Services will be led by Cantor Dudu Fisher, Chazzan Tzali Camissar, celebrated cantor at The Shul of Bal Harbor and Chazzan Rachmiel Andrusier of New York. A special Hazzan will once again lead the Sephardic Minyan.
Dudu Fisher needs no introduction. The son of a Holocaust survivor, Dudu began cantorial studies at age 22, after his discharge from the army. He was the cantor at the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv, followed by four years in South Africa. For over 20 years, he was the High Holidays cantor at Kutsher's Hotel in the Catskills and in 2005 he became the Chief Cantor for the Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach, New York.
Dudu is also recognized for playing Jean Valjean, the leading role of Les Misérables on Broadway, in London and Israel. Fisher was the first performer excused from Friday night and Saturday performances, as he is an Orthodox Jew and was not able to perform because of the Sabbath.
This is the very first time Dudu will be leading High Holiday services in Florida. We are so fortunate and extremely excited to be able to host this once in a lifetime voice as our lead Chazzan for the High Holidays 2017. New for 2017: We are excited to announce that Kosher Holiday Resort is teaming up with the most amazing Chef Yos and his incredible Hassid+Hipster Catering for the High Holidays. Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur at the luxurious Turnberry Isle Miami and Sukkos at the oceanfront Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.
 
Hassid+Hipster is a unique and innovative culinary team combining modern techniques with dynamic flavors and infusing it into the Kosher Culinary world. Leading the Kosher Industry in Culinary Innovation, Chef Yos is always pushing the boundaries of the Kosher Culinary World.
 
 
The beautiful High Holiday retreat is hosted by Rabbi Pinny Andrusier, dynamic spiritual leader of Chabad SW Broward, Florida and his wonderful wife Gitty. The highly popular program caters to families of all ages and attracts guests from all backgrounds and affiliation.

Already confirmed are award selling author and lecturer, Rabbi Simon Jacobson and his wife Shaindy. Rabbi Jacobson is the author of the best-selling book Toward a Meaningful Life, a William Morrow publication that has sold over 300,000 copies to date and has been translated into 10 languages. Shaindy is the director of the internationally recognized Jewish Learning Institute’s women’s studies division.  
Also back by popular demand is Rabbi Mendel Duchman. As last year's moderator and guest scholar, Mendel lit up the room each time he took the podium. With his incredible humor, warmth and energy, Mendel was definitely one of last year's highlights. Countless guests requested, rather demanded, that he return.
Mendel travels the globe as a nationally acclaimed motivational life coach and is also CEO of a leading brand of natural, organic skin care products. Fantastic Youth Program & Baby Sitting
 
Many young families return every year mainly due to the well-organized youth program headed by the rabbi's son Eli and his energized team of counselors. The children are under great care thus allowing the parents to focus on their prayers and attend the lectures.
 
The Youth program is divided into four age groups offering youth prayer services, stories and games for the younger guests. At the conclusion of each holiday a grand raffle takes place with the exuberant youngsters celebrating their well-earned rewards. During services, babysitting is available for infants and younger children and is included in the package.
 
Yom Kippur   -  Kol Nidrei with Dudu Fisher!

The beautiful resort will offer both a regular and a Sefardi Minyan. Guests can choose a late check out Saturday eve or stay till after Sunday breakfast.
For Yom Kippur an elaborate gourmet pre fast dinner is offered as well as a lavish break-the-fast feast following the Neilah and evening services.
