The Shore Path Cottage is family owned and operated by the Chester family, and a favorite destination for kosher travelers.
The cottage, located in Bar Harbor, Maine, a world class resort, is situated on the ocean and on a quiet street in town and just minutes from Acadia National Park, voted America’s favorite. The cottage is beautifully and fully furnished with all the amenities and appliances including a professional kosher kitchen and can accommodate 16-18.
The list of activities on land and sea include hiking, biking, sailing, ocean excursions, etc. appealing to every age group. Our Bird’s Nest Cottage which sleeps 6-7 is adjacent to the property and is also available for a week and longer stays. Our rotating family managers (Lisabeth and Yossi), both familiar with all the area activities and excellent cooks, can personalize your itinerary and provide you with meals, as requested.
In addition to our usual high standards of cleanliness, we are practicing more stringent measures between groups to insure your safety and well-being during this time. Nine hours by car from NYC (six hours from Boston) Bar Harbor, an ideal vacation spot located on Mount Desert island-- an awe inspiring gem of nature-- is awaiting your enjoyment.
