האוכל פשוט מדהים ומה שלא מדהים סמי פשוט אומר לך לא מומלץ (פעם ראשונה שראיתי במסעדה שכתוב בתפריט על מוצר מסויים לא מומלץ) להכנס בחורף מהקור ולאכול מרק חם אצלו זה משהו ..... המחירים סבירים כשמדובר באמסטרדם (בטוח שאם נהפוך את זה לשקלים זה נראה מאוד יקר) רק חבל שזה קצת רחוק ממרכז העיר ששם רוב המלונות לתיירים.

HaCarmel is an outstanding restaurant.
The food and the atmosphere are amazing.

This was one of our last stops in Amsterdam, as it is not very centeraly located.
However, it was recomended and we're glad we made the effort.
Nice portions, pleasant and quick service and tasty.
Most important, Mrs. Beck was there (from Beck's meals near Porugese syn.) and was very helpful with all kinds of useful information reagrding Amsterdam and around (shuls, restauarants, kosher food, eruv, etc.)
Very nice and highly recomended.
However, it would be helpful if they accepted credit cards, particularly for tourists who are short on Euros.

im from New York where a good Restaurantsurant is not hard to find, and i can still say that i dont remember having such a good meal here in NY then of the one i had in carmal, it was definitly the best kosher resurant in europe, that i have been too.

I was very lucky to visit this nice and simpathetic Restaurantsaurant, the food was exellent and needless to add that the service was of a very high lavel, the ambiance is very cozy and friendly,and the prices are average for a kosher Restaurantsaurant.
