We are proud to invite you to join us for Pesach 2008 at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem, beginning on Friday, April 18th until Saturday night April 26th at the conclusion of Pesach (for those holding 2 days Yom Tov, until Sunday night April 27th). Please be aware that this year the Seder is Saturday night, and thus, the Pesach vacation is one day longer than usual.

Following last year’s Pesach, we have decided to celebrate Pesach at an outstanding hotel in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Each room has its own balcony and offers a magnificent panoramic view of Jerusalem. Located in walking distance to the Supreme Court, Israel Museum and the Knesset, we will offer optional tours to visit these and other sites on Shabbat and Yom Tov. We will be the only group in the hotel and all its beautiful facilities will be at our disposal. We have insured that in this Shemitta year the Kashrut will be on the highest level with Glatt Mehadrin and Shmittah LeChumrah and especially delicious food. Machine Shemurah Matza will be served all Pesach except for the Seder where hand Shemurah Matza will also be available.

Rabbi Dr. Nachum Amsel will involved in the planning of all aspects arranging the accommodations and planning the program. Rabbi Morrie Wruble and family will be the on-site coordinators for the entire Pesach.

Since we have taken all the rooms for the entire Pesach, we can only accommodate partial stays if we find a “Shidduch” with those families who wish to come from Friday, April 18th until Monday, April 21st and those who wish to arrive Monday and stay until the end of the Chag. You register as all other guests filling out registration forms and providing your credit card or checks and within 15 days of your registration, will inform you if we have found a “Shidduch.” In most cases, we are fortunate to accommodate this sort of arrangement.

Each room is fully air-conditioned, equipped with a small refrigerator, cable TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, and double or single beds as per request. As mentioned above, each room has a balcony and view of Jerusalem.

The Health Club and Spa is a complete experience. It includes the latest in training machines, wet and dry Sauna, Entrance to the Health Club and Spa normally costs in excess 75 NIS per day. Tek Travel has made a special arrangement with the hotel, and the cost to you will be greatly reduced (free for those who sign up before January 1, 2008)

Special for our group – a significant discount on all spa treatments. Information about the many treatments will be forthcoming in the February letter along with information and requests about table seating and Tiyulim-day trips.

Wifi Internet connection is available in the entire hotel for laptops at a reasonable daily fee. A business center also allows for internet connection for those who do not bring laptops.

A professional day camp facility is located in the hotel. Our entertainment staff and seminary counselor will supervise this daily program, both on Chol Hamoed and Shabbat and Yom Tov.

There is a heated indoor pool, whose roof opens up when the weather is appropriate. Separate swimming and family swimming hours will be arranged in the pool.

The hotel has a splendid grassy garden. Tennis courts, ping pong and a basketball court are also located on the premises.

The hotel is located just blocks from the Machane Yehuda section of Jerusalem, a 2 minute walk to the Central Bus Station, and next door to the Binyanei Ha-uma Convention Center, which we will use as our Shul on Shabbat and Yom Tov.

There are limited rooms for a Private Seder, at an additional fee. For those keeping two days of Yom Tov, we have a full program of Davening, Second Seder, and Yom Tov meals, all included in our 10 day (9 night package).

The Shiurim, lecture and Scholars in Residence will be unprecedented: We are extremely fortunate to welcome Ambassador to England and advisor to Seven Israeli Prime Ministers -- Yehuda Avner, Rabbi Ari Kahn, Rabbi Reuven Aberman and more!

As in previous years:

Emphasis will be placed on offering non-stop programs for all age groups, including toddler, pre-teen, teenagers and adults. During Chol Hamoed, a professional entertainment staff will offer indoor and outdoor activities for all age groups.

Every evening live entertainment, geared for the entire family, will be presented. Some of the programs are unique, never before seen, anywhere.

The latest and best Hollywood films will be shown for adults, teens and children. In addition, the most interesting films with Jewish content (some never seen before in Israel) will be shown as well.

The Davening will be “Heimishe” will a spiritual feeling, unique Chazanim and a special atmosphere.

In addition to the Scholars in Residence, many outstanding lectures, Daf Yomi and other stimulation for the brain will be offered.

Outstanding optional Tiyulim- day trips with magnificent guides will be offered (for a fee) during Chol Hamoed. You will select those day trips in around Jerusalem that interest you from an array that will be offered in February.
