The Hotel

We have taken over the entire hotel for Pesach for Pesach 2010 with its 81 beautifully designed rooms each equipped on suite bathroom, individual climate control air conditioning with cable TV, radio, direct dial telephone, safe, hairdryer and mini-bar. All the rooms have been built to retain the style of the old Turkish Khan that existed in this spot.

The main dining room offers both local and international cuisine. There is a lobby, pool, snack bar, wine bar which specializes in offering the very best wines of Israel. Heated Swimming pool, beautiful spa center with a large selection of treatments, gym, keep fit equipment, sauna.

Program

We will have a daily program for adults and children which will include a tour of the streets and alleys of Safed, an evening of storytellers with the elders of Safed. A visit to a cheese maker including cheese tasting, guided visit to the old synagogues and artists galleries. An evening of spring songs accompanied by accordion around a campfire. A nature tour of the surroundings which will include a comfortable walking tour for the whole family in the Beria Forest. Activities for children, musical entertainment including Klezmerim and much more including children's activities.

We are delighted to have as our Scholar in Residence Rabbi Joel Tessler. We will also have other renowned speakers including a lecture on 'Getting to know the World of Kabbala'.
