WINTER SPORTS IN VILLARS
Skiing enthusiasts will enjoy superb facilities in the mountains high above Villars. All the Ski slopes, chairlifts, cable cars and mountain railways will be open and fully operational during your stay in Villars (subject to sufficient snow conditions).
You can look forward to excellent skiing in Villars on more than 120 km of ski runs and slopes and more experienced skiers will have the opportunity of reaching the nearby Glacier at Les Diablerets (3,000m).

Connections to the ski slopes are either by the nearby cable car or from Villars railway station, a five minute walk from the hotel. A free shuttle bus operates every 20 minutes from outside the Eurotel Hotel directly to Villars Station.
Frequent trains throughout the day will take you high up the mountain above Villars in just over 15 minutes to the magnificent Alpine ski paradise of Bretaye (1800m) - a spectacular journey in itself to the most fabulous skiing area imaginable with breathtaking, panoramic scenery. A highly recommended train ride for skiers and non-skiers alike -- not to be missed!
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN VILLARS & SURROUNDING AREA
Visitors can take advantage of excellent sport facilities in Villars including high altitude skiing (for experienced skiers only) in the nearby glacier of Les Diablerets (3,000m) or the famous resort of Verbier (1600m)
Villars offers a variety of different sports including ice-skating, five-a-side football, tennis, squash, volleyball, badminton, golf and horse riding, nearby.
Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy walks and trails in over 30 km of marked mountain routes. There are also almost 150 km of all-terrain bicycle trails set in an enchanting landscape in a protected Alpine environment.
Children, young visitors and even adults can enjoy the Adventure Park in nearby Aigle, the mini-trains at the Swiss Vapour Park in Bouveret, close to the shores of Lake Geneva and the Fun Planet in Montey for go-karting and other youthful activities.

SIGHTSEEING
The beautiful resort of Montreux is just 30 km from Villars and reached by direct train from Aigle (the station nearest to Villars) in a little over 20 minutes. Sophisticated Montreux is famous for it's elegant lifestyle, excellent shopping and beautiful location on Lake Geneva.
Lausanne and the famous, elegant city of Geneva are popular sightseeing destinations, well worth visiting, and within easy reach from Villars by direct express train from Aigle.

Monday 29 March (Erev Pesach) morning half day tour to Montreux & Lake Geneva
Thursday 01 April (1st day Chol Hamoed) Tour to Lausanne and Geneva, then crossing into France to the charming town of Annency and returning over Mont Blanc to Evian, crossing back into Switzerland and returning to Villars late afternoon.
