Facilities:

The hotel has 176 rooms, 60 of them with balconies in the beautiful new Hod wing. These include 4 luxurious suites with very large balconies offering a gorgeous panoramic view of the surrounding mountain scenery and 3 deluxe rooms with large balconies offering a spectacular view. Many of our rooms have connecting doors, which makes them ideal for families with small children. We also have a number of spacious garden rooms on the ground level with a front porch and a small lawn.

We have a beautiful spacious restaurant with a modern glatt kosher kitchen offering delicious food for all your meal plans. On the ground floor we have a spacious lobby bar and a gift shop offering a wide variety of lovely souvenir items, including those made at Yeriot, our local sheltered workshop.

Our hotel has numerous halls and meeting rooms which are equipped to accommodate groups ranging in size from 20 to 350 people. In addition, we have a fitness center, table tennis, tennis courts and an enclosed heated swimming pool with a sauna. The swimming pool and the fitness center are open year round, and they offer separate hours for men and women.

Description of rooms:

Our hotel rooms have wall-to-wall carpeting, comfortable beds, radio, television, air conditioning and a private bath. Most rooms can accommodate a third adult or 2 additional children. In the Lev wing we have 12 rooms suitable for handicapped guests.

Restaurant: It has a seating capacity of 350 and can be divided into 3 separate sections. It is beautifully decorated, carpeted with an ancient motif. It boasts spacious buffets and a very gracious and helpful staff and is an excellent venue for affairs and celebrations.

The Lavi Hotel is situated in the heart of the Galilee just 15 minutes from Tiberias and less than an hour from the Golan Heights and Safed – an ideal location for those interested in enjoying the many attractions that Northern Israel has to offer, such as the Menara cable car, the Jordan River kayaks, the ancient sites of Zippori, Tiberias and Bet Shan, the grave sites of the Zadikim and many other attractions. Inquire about discount tickets at the front desk. There are also many museums and folklore centers nearby. We can make arrangements for a jeep tour or a tour with a private guide for those who are interested. We also offer an excellent counseling service for those who wish to do their own day trips.

We recommend that you visit the kibbutz while you are here. See the children’s nursery, the milking of the cows, the beautiful synagogue and the factory which produces the furniture for our synagogue and for hundreds of other synagogues throughout the world. A map is available at the front desk. It is also an easy hike from the kibbutz to the Horns of Hittin – a famous historical site with a breathtaking view.

Getting there:

From Tel Aviv take Ayalon North onto rd. #2 (coastal road), following signs to Haifa. Exit at Zichron Yaacov onto road # 70. Continue east traveling on road # 70 through Yokneam, following signs to Tiberias. At Hatishbi Junction turn right to road # 722 towards Tiberias. At Hashomrim Junction turn right onto road # 79, moving over to the left as soon as possible. After the traffic light at the Alonim Mall continue to the next left turning onto road # 77. At Hamovil Junction turn left and then immediately right, continuing on # 77. After 17 kilometers you will reach the Golani Junction. Continue straight for 3 kilometers, then turn left into Lavi.
